Press-ready DTF transfers
Do you have a heat press and want sharp, vivid-colour transfers without having to run a printer? Printtex prints your DTF transfers in its workshop in Paris 20e, on 35 × 40 cm sheets ready to press, and ships them throughout France.
What is a DTF transfer?
DTF (Direct To Film) means printing your design in colour onto a film, with a white underlayer, then covering it with an adhesive powder. All you have to do is press it onto the garment. The result: all colours, gradients and fine details from 1 mm, on light and dark fabrics alike, with a soft feel that moves with the fabric.
One 35 × 40 cm sheet, as many designs as you like
Our sheet is slightly larger than a standard A3: you group all your logos and designs of different sizes on it, then cut them out and press them when you need them. About fifteen 8 cm chest logos fit on a single sheet.
The price drops with quantity: from €10 down to €5 per sheet depending on the number ordered, plus an express option for same-day shipping (order placed before 4 pm on a working day). The price tiers are detailed on the DTF sheets product page.
The file to send
- A PNG with a transparent background at 300 dpi: 4134 × 4724 pixels for a full sheet, or a PDF.
- Anything transparent is not printed; avoid lines thinner than 1 mm.
- We check every file free of charge before printing (resolution, transparent background, sizes) and warn you if there is a risk.
How to apply your transfer
With a heat press preheated to 140-150 °C, press for 10 to 15 seconds with medium to firm pressure, remove the film, then press again for 5 seconds with a sheet of baking paper for maximum durability. The complete step-by-step is in our guide how to apply a DTF transfer.
On which fabrics?
The DTF transfer can be pressed onto cotton, polyester and blends: T-shirts, sweatshirts, tote bags, sportswear. Properly applied, it withstands washing up to 40 °C, garment turned inside out.
Lead times and delivery
Your sheets are printed and shipped within 1 to 3 working days, by Colissimo or to a pickup point, throughout France, and also to Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Free collection is possible at the workshop, 5 rue Planchat, Paris 20e.
