Textile flock printing

A different name and number on every jersey? Flock printing is the technique behind club and team kits: crisp, hard-wearing letters and numbers that are easy to read from a distance.

Who is it for?

  • Sports clubs: football, basketball, handball, rugby, running.
  • Company teams and tournaments: a first name on the back for every participant.
  • Associations, schools, hen parties: matching kits with a different name on each one.

How do I order?

  1. Choose the garment: sports T-shirts, tank tops, sweatshirts.
  2. Prepare your list: one name, one number and one size per person.
  3. Send it with your logo in a quote request.

For just a few items, you can also use the team order in our online tool: one line per person, with their name and number on the back.

Club logo + names

The club logo (often in colour) is printed using DTF on the chest, and the names and numbers go on the back: a complete, professional set. Also read our tips for a custom club kit.

Price: on quote

The price depends on the number of kits, the number of letters and digits, and the garment. Send us your list and we will reply with a detailed quote.

T-shirt flock printing in Paris

Flock printing a T-shirt means cutting the letters and numbers out of a textile film, then heat-pressing them onto the garment. The result is crisp, slightly raised and holds up in the wash. In our workshop in Paris, we flock T-shirts, jerseys, tank tops and sweatshirts, even for just a few items, with free collection on site or delivery across France.

For a colour logo, a photo or a design with gradients, flock printing is not suitable: we then switch to DTF printing, which reproduces every detail. The two techniques can be combined on the same kit.

Flock printing: frequently asked questions

What is the difference between flock printing and DTF printing?

Flock printing cuts the letters and numbers out of a textile film that is heat-pressed on: ideal for names and numbers, which come out crisp and slightly raised. DTF prints every colour, photo and gradient: we use it for the club logo. The two can be combined on the same kit.

Can I get just a few T-shirts flock printed?

Yes, we flock print even small quantities. For a small team, the team order in our tool lets you enter one line per person, with their name and number on the back.

How do I send you the names, numbers and sizes?

Prepare a list with one name, one number and one size per person, then attach it with your logo to a quote request. We will reply with a detailed quote.

Does flock printing survive the wash?

Yes, flock printing is hard-wearing and holds up in the wash. To keep it looking good for longer, wash the garment inside out, with no tumble dryer and no ironing directly on the letters.

Frequently asked questions

Can a different name go on each jersey?

Yes, that is the whole point of flock printing: send the list of names, numbers and sizes, and each item is personalised.

What size should the numbers be?

Typically 20 to 25 cm high on the back and 8 to 10 cm on the front or on the shorts. We will advise you according to the garment.

Does flock printing hold up in the wash?

Yes. Wash inside out at 30 or 40 °C, no tumble dryer, and do not iron directly over the letters.

Can the club logo be added?

Yes: the logo is printed in colour on the chest, and the names and numbers on the back.
