Halloween: custom Halloween T-shirts: there’s still time with express, order before 29 Oct.

The T-shirt is still the simplest and most effective way to show off a logo, a message or a photo. At Printtex you can customise yours from just 1 item with our customisation tool: live preview, front and back printing, and volume pricing from 2 items.

How to design your own T-shirt online

  1. Choose your T-shirt: fit, weight, colour and sizes.
  2. Add your artwork in the customisation tool: logo, photo or text, front and back.
  3. Check the preview on the real T-shirt, with the exact price for your quantity.
  4. Order: ships within 1 to 3 working days. Above 100 items, request a free quote.

Which fabric weight should you choose?

  • 150 to 180 g: light and affordable, ideal for an event, a society or a team (classic T-shirts).
  • 220 to 240 g: thicker and more structured, oversize or boxy fit, for a premium look.
  • 280 g: the heavyweight, dense and structured, a favourite of clothing brands and merch (heavyweight and oversize T-shirts).
  • Sports T-shirts in breathable polyester, for clubs, races and sporting events.

For every occasion

Team kit and trade shows, hen and stag parties and birthdays, clubs and societies, launching a clothing brand: choose the fit and the colour, add your artwork, and we take care of the rest. For the in-between seasons, also consider our long-sleeve T-shirts.

Which printing technique should you choose?

  • Digital printing (DTG): ideal for photos and very colourful artwork, from 1 item, on cotton.
  • DTF transfer: vivid colours and very good durability, on cotton as well as polyester; perfect for small and medium runs.
  • Screen printing: the most economical for large quantities with few colours (logos, solid areas).
  • Embroidery: a premium, long-lasting finish, perfect for a left-chest logo or on a cap.
  • Flock printing: for names and numbers, especially on sportswear.

Not sure? Describe your project in the free quote: our workshop will advise the technique best suited to your artwork and your budget.

Which T-shirt fit should you choose?

The fit changes the whole look of a custom T-shirt, as much as the artwork does. Here are our fits, from the most classic to the most fashionable:

Custom T-shirt ideas by trade and use

Restaurants, bars and shops

Front-of-house staff wear the venue’s logo, and customers remember the name. A left-chest logo and the address or name of the venue on the back are enough. Black and navy stand up well to long service days. For the kitchen, also consider our custom aprons.

Tradespeople, construction and field teams

A sturdy T-shirt with the company name and phone number turns the team into a business card on site. Thick cotton withstands frequent washing better; for winter, add a zip-up with the same logo.

Bands, podcasts and artists

Merch often starts with a T-shirt: an album cover, a logo, a tour date on the back. Order one item to check the result, then reorder at every gig, with the same file.

Schools, student unions and student societies

The class, freshers’ week or prom T-shirt carries the name of the school, the year and sometimes everyone’s nickname on the back. One line per person in the tool, and everyone keeps their own size. Schools and public bodies can pay on a purchase order.

Families, parties and keepsakes

Family reunion, birthday, new baby, wedding, hen or stag party: a phrase, a shared photo or drawing, and a first name for each person. With the kids’ T-shirts, the whole family can match.

Companies, seminars and trade shows

A T-shirt in the company colours brings a team together at a trade show or seminar and gets kept afterwards. For a smarter outfit, compare with our embroidered polo shirts.

Matching the T-shirt colour and the artwork colour

Contrast makes things legible: dark artwork on a light T-shirt, light or bright artwork on a dark T-shirt. On a white or light T-shirt, the print doesn’t need a white underbase: that’s why white and light colours cost less. On a dark T-shirt, our DTF transfer adds a white underbase so the colours stay vivid. Avoid artwork in the same shade as the fabric, except for a deliberate tone-on-tone effect.

Preparing your file for a T-shirt

  • The right format: a PNG with a transparent background; without transparency, the white rectangle around the logo would be printed.
  • The right resolution: a sharp image at print size; an image saved from social media is often too small.
  • Text: avoid very thin lettering, which becomes illegible once printed.
  • A photo: choose a well-lit photo, without blur. The tool’s preview shows the result before you order.

Is your logo blurry or pixelated? We rework it for €5. And our Prepare my artwork page helps you check your file for free.

Choosing the right size

Each product page has its size guide, with width and length measured flat. The simplest way: lay a T-shirt you like flat, measure it from armpit to armpit and from collar to hem, then compare. Oversize and boxy fits are designed to be worn loose: take your usual size. For a group, everyone chooses their own size, and the volume price still applies to the whole order.

Frequently asked questions

Can I order just one custom T-shirt?

Yes, all our T-shirts can be customised from just 1 item. The unit price then drops from 2 items, and again in steps as the quantity grows.

Do you deliver all over France?

Yes: by Colissimo or to a pickup point, delivered 1 to 4 working days after dispatch, and free on orders of €100 or more. You can also collect your order from our workshop free of charge.

How much does a custom T-shirt cost?

A white classic T-shirt with one print position costs €20 for a single item, then €14 for 2 to 5 items, €13 for 6 to 50 and €12 for 51 to 100 items; above that, by quote. All prices are on our Prices page and in the tool.

What size should my file be?

Ideally a PNG with a transparent background or a high-resolution PDF (300 dpi at print size). Our tool tells you whether your image quality is good enough.

How long until my T-shirts arrive?

Your order ships within 1 to 3 working days, then is delivered in 1 to 4 working days. With express, ordered before 4 pm, it ships the same day, and collection from our workshop (Paris) is free.

Does the print survive washing?

Yes. Wash the T-shirt inside out at up to 30-40 °C, with no tumble dryer and no ironing over the design: the print keeps its colours for a very long time.

Do you offer prices for large quantities?

Yes, prices drop with quantity in the tool, and above 100 items we prepare a free quote within 24 hours.

Can I print a photo or any image I like on a T-shirt?

Yes: a photo, drawing or your own creation, in colour, from 1 item. The tool shows you the result before you order. Only send images you have the rights to.

Can I add a different name or number to each item?

Yes, directly in the tool: one line per person, with their size, first name or surname and back number, and one file per person. The volume price applies to the team’s total quantity.

Where can I design my own T-shirt and get it printed online?

Right here: choose your T-shirt, add your logo, a text, a name or a photo in the tool and check the live preview. We print it in our workshop in Paris and ship it across France and Europe, from just 1 item.

Do you deliver to Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland?

Yes: by Colissimo Europe, from €15.90, and delivery is free on orders of €150 or more. In Belgium and Luxembourg, there is no customs or extra tax. In Switzerland, Swiss VAT and the carrier’s customs clearance fees are paid on receipt. Everything is detailed on our delivery page for Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg.

Can I order custom T-shirts from Germany, Spain or Italy?

Yes, we deliver across the European Union by Colissimo Europe, with no customs fees: €15.90 up to 500 g, and delivery is free on orders of €150 or more. Allow 1 to 3 working days for production before dispatch.

Which T-shirt is best for printing a photo?

A white or light T-shirt reproduces photos most faithfully, because the colours print directly onto the fabric. The white Basic T-shirt is the most economical; the white 220 g heavyweight T-shirt gives a denser surface and a sharper result.

Which T-shirt should I pick to launch a clothing brand?

Brands mostly choose the 220 g heavyweight oversize T-shirt, the 240 g boxy or the 280 g extra-heavyweight in organic cotton. Order one proof item, check the fit and the result, then reorder as your sales grow.

Do different sizes change the price for a group?

No: the volume price is based on the total quantity of the order, whatever the sizes. Just add one line per person with their size.
