A personalised hoodie lasts for years, so it is worth choosing the right model from the start. Here is how to compare our sweatshirts using three simple criteria: fabric weight, fit and use.
Fabric weight: 280 g or 440 g?
The fabric weight (grammage) is the weight of the fabric per square metre. The higher it is, the thicker and warmer the sweatshirt, and the better it holds its shape.
- 280 g: a comfortable, lightweight sweatshirt, ideal for a team, an event or a first trial. The gentlest price.
- 440 g: a thick, structured fleece with a “clothing brand” finish. It is the choice for collections and merch.

Hood, zip or crewneck?
- Hoodie: the most popular, with a large surface on the back for a design.
- Zip hoodie: practical for everyday wear and team outfits; the zip splits the front, so we recommend placing the logo on the heart side and the large design on the back.
- Crewneck sweatshirt: more understated, perfect for an embroidered logo or a centred text.
For a bolder style
- Washed zip hoodie 380 g: a vintage effect, much sought after for streetwear and merch.
- Heavyweight zip hoodie 440 g: the zip-up version of our thickest fleece.
- Heavyweight bomber sweatshirt 440 g: an original jacket-style cut, to step away from the classic hoodie.
Which size should you choose?
The classic models (280 g) fit true to size: take your usual size. The oversize and boxy cuts (440 g) are wider and shorter: take your usual size for a roomy effect, or one size down for a closer fit. For a team, measure a sweatshirt you already wear and compare it with our size guide.
Which model for which use?
- Team, club, association: the 280 g, for a good price on quantity.
- Brand, merch, collection: the thick 440 g, for a premium finish.
- Gift: the heavyweight hoodie, with a photo or a text on the back.
Which printing technique?
DTF transfer suits every design, even in colour and photos, from 1 item. Embroidery gives a high-end finish for a heart-side logo. See our printing techniques.
Care
Wash your hoodie inside out, preferably at 30 °C, with no tumble dryer; do not iron directly on the print. This way the fleece keeps its shape and the design keeps its colours.
Frequently asked questions
Can you print on the front and the back?
