Are you launching a clothing brand in Brussels, Geneva, Luxembourg or Montreal, and looking for a workshop that prints carefully made small runs, in French? Here is how to work with Printtex, a textile personalisation workshop in Paris 20e, from abroad.
Start with a sample
Before producing a run, order one piece with your design using the online personalisation tool. You check the feel of the fabric, the cut and the colour rendering at home. The first piece serves as a proof: the following ones benefit from the tiered pricing.
Choose the right garments
For a brand, the garment matters as much as the print. Heavyweight and oversize T-shirts and heavyweight hoodies are the most requested. The product pages give the manufacturer's size guide, handy for your own product pages.
Choose the printing technique
For small runs in colour, DTF printing is flexible and precise; for larger quantities, screen printing costs less per piece; embroidery gives a premium finish on sweatshirts and caps. Our textile printing guide compares the techniques.
Shipping costs and customs depending on your country
- Belgium and Luxembourg: Colissimo Europe, from €15.90 (up to 500 g), free delivery from €150 of purchases. No customs: these are European Union countries.
- Switzerland: same Colissimo Europe rates; Swiss customs duties and VAT (8.1%) are paid on receipt.
- Canada, including Quebec: Colissimo International, from €34.90 (up to 500 g); duties and taxes may be charged on receipt.
The details are on our delivery to Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Canada page. For a heavier run, a quote gives the exact shipping price.
Moving on to the run
Once the sample is approved, send us your project (designs, models, sizes and quantities) from the brand quote page. We reply with a price per piece and the production lead time.
